Hi everyone wasn’t sure where to put this but
Today 30 ks from Wangaratta I did the alternator on the ST   tilt trayed bike & camper to Wangaratta
camped at caravan park courtesy of RACQ
So what’s planned from here ? have not got a clue  don’t know if the shop will make it to rally
Peter

Peter, give me a call, we can talk through some options.

Nearest member is Gordo (Violet Town).

Just had a chat with Peter, everything is under control, he has already contacted Diesel & Sicman (both will be going through Wangaratta tomorrow), and they have a few tricks up their sleeves.

I will be leaving Melbourne around noon tomorrow heading for Yackandandah if i can help drop off anything. Landing Tullamarine around 10:30am - picking up hire bike a few suburbs over.

And with Cerebral heading that way tomorrow, things could turn pear-shaped.

That's horrible news PC. Hopefully, they're able to get you another alternator or get your existing one fixed in short order

What's planned:
  • Looks like the weather I ordered will be delivered - see pics.
  • Shirts, patches and pins have arrived, will be delivered to Mansfield by OzSTOC couriers.
  • The Catering Sub-Committee has been baking & cooking some treats for our Meet & Greet - be prepared for a feast.
  • Oh yeah!  Pack your swimmers, the pool is adjacent to the camp kitchen - anything can (and usually does) happen after a beer or three.

Landed in Yack for the night.

You're lucky, 2nd prize was two nights.

Tomorrow's forecast will determine which way I ride.

If the weather's dry, a small diversion along the lines of this map would take in some sweet curves and twisties.

No much at Poly McQuinn, unless it's been raining and then the overflowing weir is worth the visit.   The General Store at Strathbogie may be open; last time I was there with a bike group, they ran out of food.

Hi Peter, any update for us today?

Or Diesel, Sicman or Cerebral (if you've had contact with PC)???

Heard from Peter this PM, he has everything sorted, he and the OzSTOC shop will be at Mansfield, courtesy of Diesel, they will arrive Mansfield on Friday.  Peter will be staying in VIC for longer that expected but RACQ are taking care of expenses, including a flight from Wodonga to Toowoomba.

Mmmm .... I think I got the correct, Peter will let me know otherwise.

Worthy of a plug .....https://www.gasmoto.com.au/

Authorised Honda Dealer, although looking at their website, I doubt if they knew (until today) what an ST1300 is.

Second generation Honda dealer of 40 years Mat certainly knew his way around the St his farther has stepped back to give him room his mother runs the office and she told me they sold quite a few St’s in the day and was surprised to see mine broken
They are also KTM dealers and the dealership looked very professional and a very tidy organised workshop
