CTEK Battery Chargers

(1/1)

ruSTynutz:
When I swapped out my bike's calcium battery for a lithium battery 3 years ago I needed to buy a new battery charger.
As my old charger was a CTEK and it had been faultless, I figured I'd buy a CTEK Lithium XS charger.
Well, a few weeks back it died...Not happy Jan!  :fp

Looking up the prices at Repco had me nearly choking as they wanted $303!
Amazon was a bit cheaper at $257.95 but it was still way too much...

Hmmm, I was sure I had never paid anywhere near that much.
Now, I usually keep all my invoices & receipts so after a brief search I found the relevant receipt and found I'd paid $176...
After now knowing the name of the company I'd purchased it from I looked them up to see how much they wanted for one now...$230.00.
Bugger, quite a jump!

While having a bit of a read of the "Product Description" I discovered they are actually covered by a 5 year warranty...You beauty!!!!
After contacting the company and explaining the situation (they were really easy to deal with) I packed up the charger and sent it off...fingers and toes crossed that they would honour the warranty.

Anyhow, to cut a long story short, it was indeed found to be faulty so they sent me a brand newie, Express Post...  :runyay

Happy to recommend them...https://www.mygenerator.com.au/

Gotta love that, you had nothing to lose by trying..

ruSTynutz:
Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised as these days you're lucky if you get a 12 month warranty on anything!  :thumbs
