Delkevic honda st1100 exhaust

(1/1)

Streak:
Has anyone put the Delkevic exhausts on their ST1100?

I have read good stuff on ST Owners, just interested to see if anyone has fitted them here in Australia

I don't know about Delkevic muffler for ST1100 - I checcked quite a few review areas but remained unconvinced as to the better.

Whilst being repaired -after hit up the arse at red traffic light - I spoke with Staintune in NSW and at the same time spotted an Advert in Cycle Torque - big Sale - I got a set of SLIP ON MUFFLERS @ 60% OFF.

Not $1299.00 - but wait for it ............  $499.00 plus $30.00 freight.

To get a set of mufflers @ that price ....Why would I then worry about BRAND ......most happy....appears to provide more go ...no change to jettings or anything else.

The note appeared "tinny"... but as time progresses ...it seems to be deepening .. the exhaust note that is.

I'm happy.

I've heard good things about Motad with regards to replacement exhausts.  I had some downpipes on my ZZR600 and they fitted well enough, and both my TDM850 and VFR750 had Motad silencers which again seemed decent enough.

Huffy:
Fitted a set to my bike 2 years ago, no problems. At the time the staintunes cost $1300, if you can get a set for $499 go for the staintunes. They look to be better made.

The price is good - Aussie Company - the choice is yours huh !!

Something to chew on in any event - amazing what is out there.

Almost as good a price as my Staintunes.
