Post by: Kev on March 15, 2012, 06:22:15 PM
Came across this site...the road side assist looks o.k. although only two 'assists' a year..

                                       http://www.ard.org.au/index.php (http://www.ard.org.au/index.php)

But has some worth while info on the links page

Cheers :beer

In Queensland the RACQ will do bike roadside assist if you upgrade your car cover.  The higher cover also obviously gives you more privileges for the car as well.  I understand they will give specialist assistance if you tell them you have a bike when you call.  It used to be that bikes were damaged by inexpert handling (e.g.dragging onto flatbeds with chains etc).
