Title: Tassie Gems
Post by: Williamson on November 24, 2019, 09:26:39 AM
Here's a chance for people to post a brief description and a Google Map link on some of the favourite Tassie roads.  In the below example, an alternatve, 30km a sweeter ride from A to B in preference to a 6km ride on a much travelled road.

Shorter ride:  https://goo.gl/maps/NnLnAFzCGQpXnfmp7 (https://goo.gl/maps/NnLnAFzCGQpXnfmp7)

Preferred ride:  https://goo.gl/maps/wqwDDZjBw8m3mRi46 (https://goo.gl/maps/wqwDDZjBw8m3mRi46)

Sure, the preferred ride does include approx. 8km of gravel, but good, well maintained gravel and an easy ride.

Oh yeah, some pics would be good too.  I didn't get any though, so you may need to settle for these from Google Streetview, unless you get your own.
