If restrictions are all lifted this will our Rose Society AGM meeting
This is a great venue I will be disappointed to miss it

Not good enough sir.  Broken leg might do it, but even that's marginal. Our friend Tipsy probably would have made it even with a broken leg, as long as someone was there to help him off at the other end  Wot thuh

I will never forget Tipsy rocking up to an Esk RTE with crutches strapped across his back and everybody running over to help him dismount. He was so happy to have made it :thumbsup

I'm planning to go now, the swimming lessons have been rearranged so the last one finishes at 9:30 am. So I may not get there until around 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Goodonyas for braving the weather.  I chickened when I stepped outside into steady rain.  Riding is meant to be fun!  :grin
I'll hack riding in the wet if I gotta, when I'm already on the road, but today wasn't a "gotta"!

It was only when i spotted a  :wht13 outbound on mains road at Mt Gravatt going around a 2 car obstruction on the crest of a hill i realised it was today not tomorrow.

On the way down to Dugandan, it rained almost all the way, and it was quite cold.

I figured even Victoria's Weather doesn't want to be there either and has come to Qld for a holiday.  :grin

It was good to catch up with so many people after hermitting at home since early March.

The ride back was dry all the way to Nudgee, and started raining just as I puled into the Shell servo.

It was a very wet start, which made the chug through Northside traffic quite unenjoyable, but once we hit the western freeway life improved rapidly, and the rain slowed to a spatter.

It was great to catch up with everyone, and the food was terrific.

We finished the day with a return trip via Fernvale and Mt Glorious (which was shrouded in mist and positively ‘glorious’. We took our time and enjoyed the twisties at a slightly slower pace than usual, loving the lazy way the V4 would pull smoothly out of a slow corner from 2,000 rpm. Well, I was at least. Ruth was busy enjoying the scenery and the occasional wallaby.
