It will be great to have you there.   :thumb   I'm not game enough to travel interstate yet, not because I'm worried about catching Covid, but because I don't want to get caught away from home by a border closure, as it could cost lots of $ to hole up somewhere.

If you couldn't get back to SA from VIC, you wouldn't need to worry about costs, you (and anyone actually - well almost) would be plenty welcome for a few nights here in St Helena, and then I'm sure a few nights at plenty of other locations throughout the VIC membership list.

I also looked at this ride, but I also have issues with this border control business. Easy one day ride but could be 3 weeks to get back at a moments notice.
With what's currently happening in WA, just not sure if Mudgee is a goer yet.
Wait and see..............

I'm afraid we are tentative at best. We are holidaying at Point Turton with friends from the 14th to the 20th. If we pull the pin on the 19th we'll be there, otherwise it is very unlikely we will be able to leave on the 20th by 9am (don't ask me why I am confident with that statement). I'll update closer to the event.

Same here, plus the inconvenience on work it would cause.  I think 2016 was the last year I didn't go interstate, although I did ride around Japan.

I'm looking forward to Mannum.  There was only four of us last time we had an RTE there.

We're out now.

Saw the surgeon today, confirmed that I need surgery on my knee.

Checked his schedule and he has a free slot for this Friday, or middle of next month.

So Friday it is, with the need to keep my leg up for the weekend.

I can't see us getting away from Point Turton in time on Saturday so we will be a no show I'm sorry. Have a safe trip folks and we'll see you next time. Good luck with surgery Michael, hopefully it'll be a little bit of pain for a whole lot of gain.
