RTE Sunday Breakfast 9th May 2021

I have booked a Table for 12, under my name, at Cooloola Berries for Sunday Morning around 8:30 - 9:00 am.

Anyone who couldn't make the Overnighter, is welcome to come along for Breakfast.

They are approximately 30 minutes from the Marine Villas

They are booked for a party of 50, so we will be out on the verandah.

I rang Tin Can Bay Tourist Park today and spoke to Cheryl abs she is expecting bookings from OzSTOC.

I also rang and booked an outdoor table for lunch at the Farmer & Sun for midday.

I was unable to get a hold of the Bistro at the Tin Can Bay Yacht Club.

We have a brother of a friend who lives in Tin Can, so I'll try and get him to get the Yacht Club to ring me.

We've been actually planning ahead this year, and have booked in at the Marine Villas Tin Can Bay for 2 nights. 8th and 9th May, that way we can come home Monday morning and miss the Sunday afternoon peak traffic.

Also a short walk from dinner Saturday night.

Lovely facilities including secure under-cover parking and a salt water pool.

In classic CallMeSteve last-minute style, we are now officially in. We've booked Saturday night at the Tourist Park, and then another 3 nights at the Marina Villas that Gary recommended. It's our 135th anniversary :whistle on Monday so we figured we'd make the most of a lovely spot.

Aragog is bathed, dried, fuelled, abs tyre pressures checked.

The fronts has dropped to 17 PSI, and the rear to 18 PSI. :o

They should have been 22 and 28 respectively.

Just a reminder to check your tyre pressures, if you haven't ridden for a while.

Worth buying a tpms to keep an eye on the tyre pressures, perhaps? :think1

You can pick them up pretty cheap on eBay...

Didnt order thru Menu Log did you??

Big problem in Wa with ML, many instances of order leaving the shop but never arriving at destination. On line tracking just stops and order is marked as delivered..

Lisa and I really enjoyed meeting you all at Farmer and Sun. We managed to get there on time on our way home to Maryborough from our 5 day bike away trip riding the Super Tenere. I was also really lucky to catch you for the ride to Cooloola Berries this morning on my ST1100, as well. Again, it was great to get to chat to most you over a bite and coffee. We are based in Maryborough and anytime you come to town (or pass through) you are welcome to drop in, get advice on the best local places to eat, drink, visit.. or use our place as a safe house if needed.

Thanks to Shiney and Gadget for their ongoing commitment to organise our RTE's in SE Qld. Was an awesome weekend out on the bike with fantastic weather, great eating venues and good company.

We are home safe and sound after a great weekend away.

Thanks everyone for coming and making it enjoyable of have and new, and new old faces. It turned out to be a bit of a degustation weekend, and really pleasant.

Added bonus was great weather.

When I got home, I was able to securely attach the Spider decal Carroll had made for us. We're both very happy with the result.

Absolutely super weekend. Great to hang out with so many awesome people.

Ruth and I are staying on for a couple of days (any excuse to not show up at work is a good one). Wandering around this arvo we had a bit of a laugh at my late fathers expense. A hilarious childhood memory was when Dad hired a houseboat for a week as a family holiday. Dad, unfortunately, tended to see navigation rules as ‘guidelines’ and so managed to run us aground in a number of places. This caused great annoyance to Mum but considerable excitement for three young lads.

This view was priceless.
