I want to replace my original 1999 - ST1100A clutch lever for Adjustable, as i find its way out too far before it actually grabs last 10 to 15mm, I notice there are a number of threads already covering this topic saying that the VRF800 will fit straight on, does this also fit the same for the ABS model ?
Cheers Dutchy

The levers dont change whether ABS or not.

I replaced the clutch lever on my ST1300 with an adjustable clutch lever that was for the VF800 & CBR1000RR which fitted perfectly.
As far as I'm aware, that same one will also fit the 1100...I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong though...
To be honest, I'm not sure swapping over to an adjustable one will give you the required adjustment though as mine made minimal difference, I reckon...
Guess it's worth a try...
The one I fitted was similar to this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Clutch-LEVER-for-Honda-VFR800F-2014-2017-CBR1000R-2011-2012-2013/132785732875?hash=item1eeaa57d0b:g:LK4AAOSwAaFfOiAe (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Clutch-LEVER-for-Honda-VFR800F-2014-2017-CBR1000R-2011-2012-2013/132785732875?hash=item1eeaa57d0b:g:LK4AAOSwAaFfOiAe)
If you're after a genuine Honda lever, the part number is 53180-MEJ-305

Actually replaced the lever on my 1100 years ago, it made a big difference in the clutch position and feel.

Took it out for a test ride and wow ! what a difference it makes, excellent at low speeds if you need to ride the clutch..

Note: I did paint my new lever to black as it only comes in chrome.
Thanks for all your help guys. :gldst11

That's good news, it certainly sounds like it offers a bit more adjustment than the one I purchased. :thumbs
To be honest, although the one I bought doesn't offer much improvement, I'm quite happy with it though as it does match the original adjustable front brake lever...

Good to know the lever off the 98-09 VFR lever works Dutchy!
Just wondering if anyone has had experience with the 2014-2017 VFR lever with the wheel. I also have a 99 ST1100 ABS model and prefer this style.
