Title: The Electrical Section of this Forum....
Post by: Diesel on October 29, 2013, 10:01:27 AM
Would Members like to see the electrical section of this Fourm in ONE section, regardless of whether you own and 1100 or 13?

There are some quite good and informative posts regarding resistance, volts, amps etc in the 1100 section - but not in the 1300 section. This made me wonder if all these gems of info should be in the one place.

I for one don't mind looking past the ST1100 light globe installation thread to get to the ST1300 quartet harnes install.

Anyone else feel the same?

Have a look at page 2 of the ST1100 Electrics and Electronics Thread to see what I mean. click here. (http://ozstoc.com/index.php?board=47.50) (These items are of interest to owners of either model).

Cheers, Diesel

I think this is a good idea, after all electronics is electronics regardless of what moves it from one place to another.

I did explain this to a group of airframe blokes in the British RAF some years ago but I don't think they understood me very well!!  >:()  :spank

There could be a single electrical thread, with model specific information under each bike heading, with all the rest being general information.  It would take a bit of pruning and moving around posts from time to time.

If you've got the time and inclination to do the sorting, go for it!
The Search facility is still there is someone can't find what they want in the new-look structure.

It was one section once, One place would be good.

A single stop for oils and tyres would be good as well, as they arent that different
