Title: grip replacement

O.k., lots of advice on how to fit heated grips. My problem is that I already have heated grips already (fitted by previous owner) and the grips are worn smooth, probably by a combination of heat and gripping. I would like to replace the grips, but am a bit wary of doing so in case I destroy the heated parts.

Any suggestions on how to replace the grips without destroying the elements??

Tried them on another bike, no good, I was unhappy about the "feel" of them. They seemed to be too big.

Binding them with something like tennis racquet grips?
