Along with oz for ounce, lb for pound, T for Ton or Tonne, grain, carat, g for gram (and all the decade derivatives), and the ISO unit N for Newton.

I had to Google this one.

The only thing I can find that might make sense is SDI to HDMI.
SDI = Serial Digital Interface
HDMI = High Definition Muktmedia Interface.

As an aside Biggles i have not read a courier mail for many years.
Putting it very kindly i would not wrap fish with it.I find the Sunday Mail worse.
I used to read the Australian a bit but now i get everything online - easier but not the same as reading a broadsheet.
