I guess this sort of qualifies as ride report since we did in fact ride over and it was nothing more than a shopping trip.
After yesterday's mail arrived it was found to have contained a fuel voucher offer if we rented another item.
The main topic of discussion was will we or won't we and if we did what would the item be. After a quick glance at the store website it was decided that a new camera would be the go and two choices became evident. This is the one we chose as best for us
http://www.nikon.com.au/en_AU/product/digital-compact-cameras/performance/coolpix-p610 but not available in any of their stores but could be ordered direct and we would have to wait at least three weeks.
The next best for us was an entry level DSLR
http://www.nikon.com.au/en_AU/product/digital-slr-cameras/d3300#overview which we did eventually decide to take as it was in stock just waiting for someone to waste their money on. All I need now is to waste more money on a lens and a 55-200mm might be the one but no rush.
To get to the Port we left at 1:50 and arrived at the store at 3.20 and left the store at closing time. Being Monday head office in Adelaide must have been swamped with rental approvals so people could get a fuel voucher. We also get a $150 fuel card (BP I think) so it'll come in handy for our next RTE (hopefully).
From there we went to the supermarket for a few items and then stopped off at KFC at about 6pm for some much need food and it was 8:15pm and 260km later when we arrived home.
