It's only a tryout and it couldn't be any worse than an unbalanced wheel/tyre. Most reviews I've seen have been positive and there's really only one way to find out anyway.
The Dyna Beads went into the new rear tyre before I refitted the wheel on Thursday. Being the first time I've done this it took a little trial and error in getting the beads through the valve stem.
This time an oil/filter change was due so once the wheel etc was back in place I proceeded with that and also I lubricated the often neglected side stand pivot point.
On the Friday we went to Port Pirie for our usual shopping trip which means towing the trailer. With a 220 return trip it's a little to early for any comments re the Dyna Beads but so far nothing unusal from the rear end. I do have minor vibration on the handle bars but I've put that down to an unbalance front wheel.
This morning I put the Dyna Deads into the front tyre/wheel and that tyre has about 4000kms of wear on it so I'll see what the beads do as far as that vibration goes and improving mileage (if any).
I good test will be the Border Ride which we are still on track to go for.
