Last week I flew to Brisbane and then drove to Kentucky (NSW) with my brother and his wife to do a training session at Ural of Oz.
Had a great morning picking up some interesting technical info about sidecars as well as learning to ride one including doing left and right hand turns with the side car wheel in the air (flying is apparently the common term for this) .
Me with our instructor, Jon, my brother on the bike with his wife in the car:-
Me flying the car:-
I instigated the trip and invited my brother, now lack of garage space is all that is stopping him from buying one.
The drive to and from Kentucky was also interesting as it was the first time I had driven a car with radar cruise control, great stuff.
Friday night Theresa flew to Brisbane and we spent the weekend with friends in Tewantin. While there we went to the Eumundi markets (an experience itself) and I almost literally walked into Sabie. Sorry Michael that we couldn't catch up with you while in your next of the woods.
