Saw this fine old fig tree today on the Terania creek near Protestors Falls...only a few short months ago this gorge once again turned from a place of beauty to night marish horror as the heavens let leash close to a meter of rain, turing a steady stream into roaring torrent washing nearly all before it.

Yet so well rooted in rock was this wonderful old tree...:-)

Today I had the ADT implant, which is expected to knock off around 95% of the cancer cells, and I meet with the oncologist in mid October to discuss a round of chemotherapy. This appointment is what is keeping me from getting to Wooli.....

I remain fit and strong, and confident that this disease can be kept at bay.
