Congratulations
« on: April 11, 2012, 12:25:36 PM »
Recently there was a meeting of the Ulysses Club; Townsville Branch.
I've been a junior member for a number of years now, so I went along.
I know most of the people from various rides I've been on before.
Anyway, turns out they needed a branch secretary.
Pay is piss poor, but it'll look good on my resume  :thumbsup
Say congratulations rendog  :hatwave

Thanks guys  :thumbs I'm really chuffed.
After I said we should invest the Clubs funds on number 7 in race 2 at Doomben
It was fairly obvious I was going to be secretary  :whistle

So do you have to wear a sweat-stained vinyl vest with silver chains, an old bearded fart back patch and a patch saying Secretary?
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
