Evenin' Saaz...

...do you remember or meet Peter Holt from the old Ozstoc site? Well he fitted a 'Flexit' chair to his 1100 back in the late 90's after his Wife had a bad accident and still wanted to have that 'motorcycle' experience. He did a wonderful job fitting it, and it too was candy apple red...he'd fitted additional lights and intercom for Fiona...she loved it...remember seeing a jumper she'd been knitting as they travelled along...I followed him on one occasion and it really looked fun but I haven't seen him for some years now, pity.

When I get time I'll rummage through the old rally pics, I know I took a few pics of it.

Ciao, the can :)

John...

Saw your comment re the LED's in the tail lamp...Laurie and Baz said the same when I ask them too.

The object was to make the back end more visible...dunno about you, but I find following 1100's it's hard to pick up indicator lamps from any reasonable distance back...so with this in mind I put clear LED's in the rear indicators only and red LED's in the tail / brake lamps thinking that red would defuse more...I was apparently wrong.

Mind you, I am not sure that you can get offset twin connection LED's...which in all likelihood would exacerbate the problem :think1

...and I thought you tucked in behind me coz of the great lines I was taking too  :crackup

Cheers Dick :)

Dick, I agree that the rear lights could do with a bit more visability. I may look around for some standard bulbs that are a bit brighter..or perhaps clean the lense   :rofl
