spot light brackets & rear crash bars
« on: November 23, 2020, 04:44:50 PM »
Are the spot light brackets still available to buy? I have searched but could not find a current link?

I have borrowed a set and am going to make myself some- but if there is a demand I will look at making numerous sets?

The ones I have are ex police and the light will be above the mirrors

I am also thinking of making the rear crash bars? is there a demand for these?

I have a steel fab business, and probably going to make them out of stainless steel

Regards

Steve

st 1300 at this stage, I would need to look at a 11, to see if they are the same?, if I can get hold of a 1100 bracket, I can replicate it easy enough,

1100 and 1300 are different, dont recall seeing rear crash bars on the 1100. I dont think there is anywhere to easily mount them. The 13300 can use bars from a Gold wing.  The police style light brackets are available from honda, as are the replacement mounting bolts, not cheap but.

I reckon there would be more interest in under-mirror mounting brackets. Everyone has been doing their own DIY job for this, and while that might be a fun learning experience I personally would have jumped at something ready made.
