Hi everyone, I’m in Geelong Vic an looking forward to being part of this community. Tomorrow I’m off to just north of Sydney with my daughter to collect my 1996 ST1100A then I’ll ride home & she’ll continue to a new job on the Sunshine Coast. I’m planning to explore the high country on my journey and really looking forward to it.

Whatever your choice, this is a book your own affair.

Hi Steve. She’s a 1981 GL 1100 Interstate (4 cyl) and is in remarkable original condition for its age. It was imported from the US and has the original owners details in its books. It’s not something I’m ever likely to part with but in the same breath I know from personal experience that one doesn’t know what’s waiting for them around the corner.

That’s amazing. I love the comstars. My beloved CB400NB had gold comstars, and my CX500 had black and silver comstars like yours. That is one beautifully preserved classic - a real collector’s item. Even better is the fact that it doesn’t just sit idle in some collection.

Truth be told I have a CX500B Shadow as well which is nearing restoration. I’m a huge fan of the comstars too, I think it’s what attracted me to that era of Honda’s.
