Really liking this model. Could I ride the optional full automatic version though?   :think1

It was certainly on my radar when I was looking to replace the ST, but the price put it well out of reach, as my demo RT Beemer was $20k cheaper than a wing.

It looks awesome however the price is way to high for me :'(
When the secondhand market gets some more reasonably priced ones I'll give one a look :thumbsup

It’s a very nice bike. I took one out for a test run last year.

The auto feels weird at first but all indications are that it grows on you. I was surprised that it was manageable even in slow shunting situations where I’d be slipping the clutch on the ST. I’m still not sure though whether I’d prefer the manual.

I was bummed to find that I couldn’t fit a helmet in the panniers, neither could I fit two helmets in the top box. That would be an annoyance I’d have to learn to live with.

I’d still like one though ..... when they become affordable secondhand.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

If I was still riding 2 wheels, this certainly would be on my list.

My Spyder is Semi-Auto, + on the way up to change gears, and either - on the way down, or let it change down gears itself.

It didn't take long to get used to it, and now, I don't think I'd have it any other way, well.......

except the new Spyders have auto on the way up and down too. :grin

2021 model has a bigger top box to fit helmets and a more comfortable pillion seat to match it with the older models. Corbin is selling top box and pannier extensions to give some improvement on the limited luggage space.

Looks and sounds like an awesome bike but I will be downsizing from the ST rather than up-sizing when the time comes.   :angry-old-man-smiley-emoticon

Keep in mind - this thing has a 'creep' gear for forward and reverse when maneuvring in difficult spots which takes away all the heavy bike syndrome.

Funny you should mention the Gold Wing, I've been browsing reviews these last few days!
Me thinks it's on my shopping list to replace my ST when I win Lotto...
Now where's that winning ticket???  :runyay
