Optimus Crux Weekend Cook System  (approx $80.00 USD)

Optimus Crux Weekend Cook System

A mate uses this one on his bike as well as hiking, and loves it.

Here is a comparison video with the Jetboil

Jetboil PCS VS Optimus Crux Weekend HE Cook System

Just food for thought, I'm ordering a Optimus Crux (sounds like a Transformers name my son thinks)

Cheers

The Optimus Crux looks like a nice piece of self contained and compact equipment.    I do agree with the reviewers coments that the JetBoil may not be as good as the Optimus Crux for cooking/heating food.   When I've used my JetBoil for that purpose, the heat needed to be turned right down and the pot stirred constantly to prevent burning on the bottom.
