Rather than start a new topic, this seemed like a harmless thread to remind y'all of the opportunity to hone your skills with a refresher course.

Cost $199 for a 5 hour course- 1 hour in the classroom and the rest lapping the circuit for braking and cornering training.

I've done them every year when the Gold Coast Council was subsidising them ($45 for a full day!) and had skipped them when I saw the full price.  But the weekly "Motorcycle Writer" guy had an advert for that one so I jumped in.

You can go here:

http://hart.honda.com.au/

and keep an eye out for specials.

Don't waste your money on a "track day" (Level 3) because our STs are definitely not suited to what they're trying to teach there.

As for "pointless posts", I thought this might be helpful to some, so apologise to those who regard it as pointless.
I 'll ignore the implication that I would be better off going riding since I believe I do a reasonable mileage each year.

I'd love to do a refresher course however HART don't do anything outside Brisbane so it'll never happen. Obviously riders in the city need training more than those in regional areas.  :crazy

Pete, I would never accuse you of being pointlessly wordy… or logorrhoeic... or ambagious... or periphrastic... or prolix...
but Kate might.

Did somebody mention Scrabble? Cheers, John & Kate.

Congrats on the 4000 posts Pete.
