Member List by State/Location?

Would it be possible to have the members list searchable by State, so that it's possible to see which members are located in which State. This would make it much easier to to see who is local and who isn't.

My thought was for the times when people are trying to arrange something local (BBQ or RTE etc) and want to see a list of only those members within striking distance, i.e. in the same state. I agree that having your home state in your sig block is useful but not under these circumstances. Anyway it's just a suggestion. It should be relatively easy to do as long as the database with all the member details has a field that says "State", then simply sort on that and filter the output to show only a particular result.

This is what the RAN list looks like from the ST-Owners website in the US.
So Basically it broken down into state by stater member contact info and what they can do/help with.

So if you are ever stuck somewhere with mobile coverage you have easy access to this list to contact a member close by.

This also acts as a kind of who's who in which state...
