Santa Finally Made it to Peterborough
« on: December 14, 2013, 11:57:52 AM »
We decided to go down and see our towns annual xmas pageant. The last one we went to was in 2010 just after we moved here.

This years was smaller than I remembered from 2010. We rode the bike down and Heather just had to take the dog which was dressed in a leather jacket.

As a pre-cursor to getting our Go-Pro cam next year it was a good time to get some practice in the editing department. Video and pics taken on my still camera and put together with Window Movie Maker in the same sequence as taken. The only down fall was the last video scene as it was a little out of focus.

Only the you tube link shows...no thumbnail????

I just had to take this when she just happened to stop in front of me.

Ah, a town parade, with kids running around chasing lollies like chooks feeding!
What were the two trikes the kids were riding?  Home-built electric?
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
