That is one sure way to garner excessive brownie points.  I did that once and they turned up for the school assembly (she's a teacher).  I was on clover!   :grin

Here are my favourite flowers being pink & white lillies  :hatwave




Out of the 12 ladies at work yesterday I was the only one to get flowers, what up with blokes these days  :fp

Pocket Stocker,

Mine's the same - lilies are her favors - large pink/red ones being her favorites.  :thumbsup

Had to send them to her via on-line ordering (about 4 times the price we usual pay for a really BIG bunch at the local florist's shops.  :eek )

Thought she'd appreciate the thought -  OPPPPS !  Received a text message - " Why you waste so much money for ??? " instead.  :'(

WOMEN !!!   I'll NEVER  be able to figure them out !  >:()   :spank

Also sent her a BIG soft, plush bear to cuddle up with at nights while I'm away.  8)

Noticed she didn't say anything about the bear !   

Our 8 year old niece will probably 'appropriate' the bear for herself within a week anyway.

OH DEAR !!!     Sometimes there's NO way of winning.   :|||| :|||| :||||
