Hello everyone. I'm a transferee from the UK Pan Clan (the ST1100/1300 are called Pan European in UK & Europe for anyone not familiar). I sold up nearly 3 years ago to come and work here in Australia, including selling my pride and joy ST1100 in Wineberry Red. It formerly belonged to the Managing Director of Sonic Comms UK, who used to do all the police, paramedic and other ST1100 conversions for UK and beyond. In a former life I worked with Sonic as we used their products including Pan's with some special electronics fitted.
I bought my Aussie 1999 ST1100 from a chap in the Blue Mountains in July 2012. He and his wife had used the bike on and off for a few years, but it had largely been left to the elements. Consequently the barely run in bike was a bit tired and faded looking with the UV exposure. I use it every day to commute into Sydney CBD and go out for weekend rides with my mate (Honda CB1100 Blackbird), most recently Wisemans Ferry and the old Pacific Highway.
