In your fantastic movie I noticed you were having some trouble with the vent zippers. Are the zipper tabs troublesome to usewhen you have gloves on? Maybe a larger tab to grasp with gloved fingers whilst riding at cyclonic speed down the bruce hiway could be good.

Also are the zippers YKK?

will be placing ky order anyway once I find a tape measure big enough to encircle my rapidly expanding gut

Hello Mr Spanner,

I can confirm the zips are a YKK.

I was only having trouble with the zips as I was trying to talk to a camera and remember everything to talk about!

With the way we have done the vents, your not going to be able to operate all the zips while riding, I was easily able to open the chest and shoulders, the left side zips while riding mean you have to take your right hand off the throttle to operate, I would not reccomend trying to open all the vents while riding, not the safest thing to do.

You have to stop to open/close your back vents anyway for the venting to work

Go inside.  Your size won't fit in any letterbox I've ever seen!    :grin

I just go home, no jacket. But looking at the weather I think the Zen adven jacket and pants might be the go for the weekend anyway.

Just a question.....if the ST is traded in on a different bike or quite a few are over the years, is there any comments either way i.e.ST jacketed owners on different bikes.  Just asking.

in my mind it does not matter either way, it has never been a requirement to own an ST to be part of the team here, the saying is simple:

"you need to own and ST, have owned an ST, know someone with an ST, have seen an ST, or know of the existence of the ST's to join"

I bought a DriRider Adventure Outfit, some (not) "Waterproof" boots and some of their (not) Waterproof or in any way warm (below 10 degrees) "winter touring gloves", in July and wore them for a lot of the Black Dog Ride Around Australia.

The recent rain and cold weather went straight through the gloves, so I bought a pair of the Dainese winter gloves, while in Perth. It seems that the Europeans know how to make them very well. The top of the line gloves from DriRider may be a similar design, but could not find any to try on.

The "Waterproof" inscription on the boots is not correct, as my feet became saturated within a couple of hours of riding in the rain.

I just hope the ST jackets are not too hot, so that I can get some decent wear out of it.
