It sure makes the wait for the jackets to turn up look very unimportant in the scheme of things.

I agree it must be awful living with that sort of uncertainty.
We are very fortunate, at this stage, not to suffer from the attacks of Muslim extremists the way they do on a daily basis.

I would like to pick up Lionel's timeline:

13 Nov 14   they are due into OZ any day now....
14 Nov 14   ... in the last stage of production ...go to quality control ...will be delivered very soon.
9 Dec 14   ... on our doorsteps before xmas ...

16th December- Taliban attack school killing 145 people, including 132 schoolchildren
19th (?) December- jackets retrieved from Customs warehouse with possible return there in a week when things quieten down...
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

really really looking forward to this jacket arriving.

Just did a brissy to Townsville trip yesterday.

wet/dry/wet/dry/wet/dry ...... all the frigging way. Stuck inside my non breathable sweat suit! would have been better off just getting wet and letting the air chill dry me.

Please Mr jacket man ....... make your country peacful enough to send us out jackets!

Not wanting to sound alarmist, but I was just thinking in the case of non-delivery of goods, as we've actually paid (Zen mc) we should under Consumer law be entitled to a full refund from Zen, or someone. Any lawyers amongst out there care to have their say? (not at this point yet).

I know Mark very well, the above would be a non issue Sim.

But I have a feeling that we wont have to worry about it anyway  ;-*

9 more weeks until the national rally... you guys may as well hang onto them and hand them out there. As I don't see them turning up in time
