IT WORKS
  :runyay
i dont know how and i dont know why
but im not game to upset it in any way (i wont even talk harsh in its presence)
but i re connected the whole thing
this time applying mechanical engineering force (instead of what i consider electrical engineering) to the connections
with or without charging lead it works
Ran voice com both ways between the bike and hand held
mind you it took some prompting for the guy on the other end to respond
So well done crew
another disaster averted

Now let me send you some pictures of this rash ive got  :H
Cheers

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?
I believe in the "hereafter", every time I go to the shed I have to think "what am I here after"
