What a great day for a ride to Ashbourne and the Greenman Inn, which was the venue for our Middleton National Rally Lunch. This is a fantastic old country pub, right in the middle of one of the best motorcycling roads in the Adelaide Hills, the Bull Creek Road, that runs from Meadows towards Goolwa and is 28 kilometers of twists and turns. Stephen is a great host, and had his children serving our table.
We had nine attendees today, and from left to right in the photo we have Stroppy all the way from Canberra, 1300Panmagic (Don), Chris, Richo, WildfireAngel, Kathy, Alans1100, StinkyPete and LesPearce. We sat on the front verandah, shared stories, good food and watched the bikes and cars zipping up and down the road past the pub.
Chris wore her new OzSTOC jacket, which fitted her just fine so long as the liners were out, and Richo bought his along on the off chance that it might fit someone else, who needed it.
Chris and I took the long way home through Strathalbyn and Mylor, another of the wonderful Adelaide Hills blasts. I trust everyone had a safe journey home.
