Rest in peace John.  We shared many memorable rides and a lot of great moments sitting around a table or a bar sharing a few beers. I will miss seeing your smiling face and hearing your chuckle. You were a good friend and will be missed by so many. :(

Sad news indeed, such a shame. I did the occasional ride or meet up with Saaz, going back to the early days of the yahoo groups ST group. Such a nice chap.

So sad to hear of John's passing.   Chris and I offer our condolences to John's family, and also to his OzSTOC and FarRider friends, all of who will grieve his death, and will miss him greatly.  Rest in Peace my friend.

The photo is thanks to "Clint" from FarRiders, and is John at BR15, where we last shared stories and a glass or two of red.

I can't believe what I'm reading ..... and hard to digest that John Saaz has gone. .... So sad for his family ... What an awful 12 months for that family with Saaz's wife and now Saaz.

Rest in peace John, you are already missed. Ride on, I'll bet the roads are pretty good where you are.

John was a man who loved retirement and loved to ride bikes.

Hopefully he can enjoy both on the other side.

I had the good fortune to have John stay at my house for a couple of days after the Border Run in August and it gave me a chance to get to know him a bit.

I am extremely pleased to have had that chance.

Rest in peace young fellow.

You were one of the first guys to make me feel welcome back to motorcycling Saaz, always on for a beer and a talk about beer and bikes. Always good advice on maintenance.
Went to your place in Canberra and you showed me how to change a rear tyre on a big road bike. All I gave you in return was my version of a good old potato salad for lunch and you were happy with that. Basically a good bloke that helped make being in ozSTOC a positive, worthwhile experience. A good man whose spirit, safe riding reputation and memory will remain as an example to others.
Vale, John Nagle (Saaz) RIP.
