Handlebar Risers
« on: August 25, 2015, 11:07:26 PM »
Hi all, Has anybody installed 25mm Handlebar Risers on a ST1100? I intend to do it & would like to know if the standard hydraulic lines need to be changed & if it is possible to still use the original cowling cover?

Cheers

Firstly.....welcome along to the club.

25mm is fine without any mods to cables....although the throttle may only just be a hint tight, and you can re-fit the bar covers......a 35mm film canister does a nice Job with the bottom cut out of filling the hole that's now above the ingnition barrel to your bar cover.

Hope that helps  :thumb

I did mine and didn't bother putting the covers back on, just cleaned the alloy up and slipped a film canister over the ignition barrel to tidy it up. It looks quite good.
