I am in need of the fuel hose that runs between the main tank and the lower tank from a 2008 or newer ST1300.
Honda call it:
TUBE, FUEL JOINT 17545-MCS-D90
I have one on order but it will be 3 weeks until it will arrive so I'm hoping someone can help me get one earlier.
Cheers

Can you get some fuel line from the likes of Supercheap Auto that has a similar bend and then just cut it to length? :think1

Hi Brother Shiney, I have one which I replaced during routine service in good condition, just dunk in hot water before fitting. Can post to you if required to get you by till the new one arrives, let me know.
Regards.
JD.
PS .Also replied to Carrol’s query on FB.

Thanks for the suggestion mate, I gave Supercheap & Repco a go but unfortunately they don't have anything large enough :'(

Dave , just for reference what is the ID of the hose? It looks like heater hose, but I know because of the Injection it will need to be High Pressure.
JD you`ve done it again....That's why we are here,, 8)

I think Nigel may have wanted the inside diameter of the hose, Dave! :think1
I may be wrong...

Looks like it is 16 mm wide on the inside.

All good and thanks. That's a big hose though for fuel! :eek

It sure is a big fuel hose :eek
It isn't a pressurised hose though, just a big hose to allow fuel to flow from the large (main) tank to the small (lower) tank.

For ST1300s, from 2008 the outlet on the top tank to the lower tank is smaller, it is now the same size as the inlet to the lower tank. As a result the connecting hose is different.
pre 2008 hose part number 17545-MCS-G00.
2008 onwards 17545-MCS-D90

:wht13 This apparently is a FLAW in the ST as my 2004 Blue BeaST never had an issue since I bought it from Shiney, now 270,000 k's ago. In saying that my 2014 white Police bike Fuel Tube split after just 70,000k . and apparently, :thumbs I bought the last one in stock in Oz??

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has or knows where I can find one of the pre-2008 hoses for my 2003 ST1300?
The one with different diameter ends.
Part No. 17545-MCS-G00
My one has split, there was fuel everywhere.
There's none in the country and I'm due a big ride at the end of April.
Lead times are anywhere from 2 to 5 months from overseas!
I'll order one but I'm not game to trust the lower of these estimates.
I'm going to try to make my own somehow to get me by until it arrives.

If you can get your hands on two pieces of fuel hose in the two correct diamters, perhaps someone with a lathe (and a bit of cunning) could turn up a stepped joiner/adaptor from brass. A couple of extra clamps and you are in business. :thumb
