« on: December 01, 2022, 10:15:08 AM »
Looking for the thread about riders getting hot on ST1300s, can anybody find it?

Thanks Lindsay. I just read most of the posts re heat problems. I thought most othe concern had been in traffic but that is not the case.
If someone has a problem in traffic when the fans come on here is an interesting thing.
Fans on my 1800 Goldwing suck air from the sides and blow air out the front where as the fans on my ST1300 suck air from the front and blow it our near my legs?????

I wonder if it would work to make the ST fan run backwards.  Should be easy with a DC system.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

STrudel doesn’t have the heat issue, but I’m always up for a bit of entertainment.  Who’s going to try it first?

A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.
