Title: Problem with Neutral
Post by: Radar on September 08, 2020, 06:09:36 PM
My ST1100 is having a little issue with neutral gear and starting. I can select neutral but the neutral indicator on the dash does not light up and even though the gearbox is in neutral the bike will not start unless I pull the clutch in. Is there an external switch that may be the issue or would it be as simple as a blown bulb not completing a circuit?

Thanks for any help

My spell check had a brain f..t for some reason. Should be ok now. So is the nuetral switch external or inside the gearbox? Just cannot make it out from the schematic.

"Just" screws into the side of the engine, its access that may be a problem.. Havent done it myself, so not sure how hard.
