This  last week I had my Mazda CX5 modified for a left foot accelerator from PME Auto Conversions

https://pmeautoconversions.com.au/driving-controls/pedal-modifications/left-foot-accelerators

More details on their website.

This morning I took the car for a drive and I’m really impressed with the conversion. It feels really seamless, as it should.

While the car was being modified, I was at Fiona Stanley hospital getting ready for meeting my new leg next week. I think this is going to be a big challenge, but with lots of encouragement from the team at FSH, as well as fellow amputees, I’m confident…

Wow. Freedom!  That’s amazing, and great news Lindsay.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

Lindsay's first weekend back behind the wheel, for me, I think being in Tweed Heads/Coolangatta for the weekend was great timing.  :grin

I took Lindsay to do his driving test so hopefully I can get away with it.

I think half the battle is having the right attitude and heaps of determination!
Good luck with it all!  :thumbs :clap
