I get what the video is saying about G forces being the same between cars etc. but there's also a weight factor involved. My Territory weights in at 2.5 tonne and definitely does not stop as quick as my 300kg 1100A

What they should have shown was a bike and a car side by side for comparison

Gs are irrespective of weight.

Gs are a measure of acceleration or deceleration. That is 1G = 9.8 metres per second per second (m/s/s).

So if you are traveling at 9.8 metres per second (35.2 km/h) it will take 1 second to stop if you can decelerate at 1 G or 2 seconds at 0.5 G.

At 70.56 km/h (19.6 m/s/s) it will take 2 seconds at 1 G deceleration and 4 seconds at 0.5 G.

You travel long way in that time.

I had 10 metres warning at 60 km/h 16.7 m/s). I had less than 1 second to stop.

One thing that video didn't mention is the response time from seeing a hazard, to responding to it. Usually, for a young adult it is around 1 second, as you agree it slows to around 2 seconds or more.
