It turns out the gentleman selling them is a member of the forum but finds it difficult to log into the forum alot of the time.
(seems to be a forum issue)
The new price of the STaintunes made my head spin when i checked it a while ago.
I looked at the ebay store where Shiney got his Delkeviks from....it was about the same as the TBR's.
-
The STaintunes arrived yesterday and are now fitted. :thumbsup
I even cleaned the bike afterwards to celebrate (only 8973km between wash's)
-
Photos would be good.......and hows the sound compares to the TBR's
-
The sound of the STaintunes are very nice(they came without baffles) compared to the sound of the TBR's with the "power tips" in place.
Without the power tips the TBR's are the sexiest bass sound that can be observed 4 suburbs away - they hurt my ear-plugged dumbo wings in 5 minutes flat. The STaintunes are a nice compromise :grin

-
The current inventory of pipes are just the STock,STaintune and TBR items :popcorn
-
They look the goods mate adding to the aesthetics of a nicely farkled machine

Congrats mate :hatwave

It's proof that it does get washed every now & again.Washing it before the last 5000km ride seems pointless now in retrospect.
It will be seeing a West Wyalong trip via ??? and return home via ??? at the start of october then a trip to Bairnsdale/Phillip Island via ??? then home again via ??? in late october. It really needs a Mr Wallbridge deep cycle clean but i wouldn't see the bike for 6 months :o

I think your onto a winning formula ........ Ride n rinse in the rain......sounds like a top lil ride sir
