The hot spot is a once off 799, then 25 connection and a Month by month 15. One you owned one it would be good. A couple of people could share one on a trip.

Tend to agree with Biggles, this is the base plan. It would be worthwhile comparing this with the Spot. Both items are a very good piece of kit if you can afford or want to pay the fees. I have used Spot and have been using Bubbler Pro for a number of years and it is very suitable for the riding that I do.

I rarely need my phone once out range of civilisation so I don't see a need for this.
