Hi guy's. I live in Binningup, WA and ride my 2002 ST1100. Have had a heap of bikes over the years including BMW ST1200, LT, 2 Goldwings, Hayabsa's, FJR1300 and a ST1300. After all the high tech brand new bikes my favourite is the ST1100 with no ABS, Traction Control or any other mod con. Have just completed a re spray in Candy Graceful Red which looks great. I replaced all the fasteners with stainless steel when re assembling. I will pull her down next winter and paint the lower forks, drive shaft and diff and while its stripped upgrade the suspension. She only has 45k on her so should see me out. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the forum an the knowledge from the group.

 I love my ST100 STranger too. I also have STrangler an 08 ST1300 I recently purchased. Great bikes,
Lots of info and tech STuff here on the forum..  so enjoy it and poST pics when you STrip down your bike again.

  to put a picture in a post to the forum (like this one) http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=12192.0 (http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=12192.0) ... we took a photo with our phone, transferred it to the laptop, went to http://www.imghostr.net/ (http://www.imghostr.net/) ... started an account, uploaded from gallery to imghost, click on your pic, go down the page, click on embedded codes, copy a code that starts with url... paste it to your post and voila... gets easy after a couple of goes... enjoy your time on the forum... Hi John and Kate, I'm planning another lap of the country in the near future. Went around heading north from Perth a few years back and had a ball. I had a new Triumph Explorer  at the time which was perfect for the trip. Thanks for the tips on posting pic's. Have tried Photo bucket which isn't happening. Probably because they haven't sent me a confirmation email. So will give imghost a go and see what happens.

Very strange set up this pic posting. They are sideways on the imghostr site. They are straight when I uploaded them. If I check the tapatalk app on my iPhone they are the right way around. Anyone know what's with that.

Hiya Macca, and welcome from Vic. Currently I am without wheels after impact with a blind 4wd driver who was on his mobile, but hopefully will have my bike back together early next year.
Its all a matter of $$$$, lol (or lack thereof)

Hi Kev, Bloody shame about your bike. There are some hopeless cage drivers out there these days. Everyone should be made to get a bike license and ride for a couple of years before they get a car.

Years ago I remember riding an ST1100 from Perth down the Kwinana freeway, just after the first freeway had been completed, it still had traffic lights believe it or not !! Between traffic lights the speedo never sat below 200 ! The ST1100 is a very capable machine, and a very enjoyable ride :)
