Just a matter of time before our ex pet sheep made me crash the Big Honda into the ride on mower in the garage .
Bloody thing decided to help its self to food bins while i was having a great time in the snow with the bike . As i arrived back home and rolling into the garage the stinkin sheep decided to panic , forcing me to park the big Honda against the ride on :angry-old-man-smiley-emoticon.
Its happened now but i will be looking for a new rh mirror and some glue to repair the mirror cover .
Any ideas where i could get a replacement miiror lens fitted and which is the best glue for cowling repairs .
There will be a bbq with lots of lamb to eat when i get it repaired .
Any help greatly appreciated again .

Lots of information on this site for plastic repairs. Just need a soldering iron, patience and abs plastic.
Ask a auto crash repair shop for a piece of broken plastic moulding from a damaged vehicle.
You will know straight away when you try to melt the two plastics together whether the plastic is compatible with your bike.
Just takes a little practise to perfect the repairs. Don't rush, just take your time.

When it comes to the mirror, it's a bit harder. The Honda mirror is slightly curved to give a wider view. And it's not cheap.
I had one cut by a glass cutter and it fitted perfectly, but didn't have the wide view feature. It showed things in their true perspective, whereas the OEM mirrors make them look further away than they really are.

Hey gaz try a panel beater that does plastic welding
or buy a pack of Selleys two-part "All Plasticfix".
Comes with a glue and a primer. Sticks all plastics including polyethylene and polypropalene, two of the hardest to stick together.

Thanks Guys , the mirror was my greatest concern , man do they cost a fortune ex UK . probaly go with your solution Biggles till i can find a salvage bike . Thinkin seriously of starting to buy some unloved ST ,s and breaking them down for parts .

When I broke my first mirror, had a new one made up from a glass cutter. Was a standard flat mirror. Was terrible riding with a flat mirror and a curved original mirror. Found it near impossible to judge behind traffic due to the two different images. Have been riding now for about two and a half years with two class cutter flat mirrors and much better to judge behind traffic than one of each.
I highly recommend you procure an OEM mirror to be able to correctly balance the two reflective images.
