ATTENTION QLD MEMBERS
Due to the current pandemic around the country and the need for social separation and isolation due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Gadget and myself have decided to put a hold on the planned QLD RTEs for now.
As motorcyclists we are used to weighing up risks every time we ride and as much as I would like to throw caution to the wind and continue to have RTEs it just wouldn't be responsible to continue them at this time (the risk is too high).
Once things have gone back to normal the QLD RTEs will pick back up.
Until then look after yourselves and your loved ones.
Cheers

With the 150 Km radius rule coming into effect from tomorrow, what is prospect of RTE's commencing with the appropriate social distancing measures in place going forward ?
-
As of the 12th of June Stage 2 of the QLD Covid-19 step-down restrictions come into effect.
Stage 2 allows gatherings of up to 20 people.
So due to this I believe we can begin to have RTE's again from this date on.
That being said we will still have to be careful to stay under the 20 people limit and maintain social distancing (until stage 3).
(Stage 3 is marked to start on the 10th of July when gatherings of up to 100 people will be permitted).

PLEASE NOTE
Even though RTE's will be beginning again this doesn't mean that people should be running to attend without first weighing up the risks :think1 :think1
The more interaction we have with other people and places that we aren't 100% sure are clean and clear the greater the risk of becoming sick :eek
As such if you aren't comfortable attending or change your mind about attending an RTE it will be completely understood :thumbs
Cheers

I am heading out for my first proper ride tomorrow for breakfast to the Mt Glorious cafe.....which i have just surprisingly found out has been open the entire time for take away coffee. Hopefully it will be quite and i can get a dine in meal.

I did a Mt Mee ride on the labour day weekend. Never seen so many cars and bikes on that road before. 2 cop cars doing brisk business as well either side of the lookout.
