G'day Jack - great news about gittin ya gal back on the road.

Great to have you two aboard.

Main thing after a break from motorcycles is to regain your 'road craft' as quickly as possible.

Like all of us, you have more than likely been extremely vigilant, careful and aware at the top of your game, so get back there quickly to ensure your safety and hours of enjoyable open road riding. Like Brock correctly says, you don't forget how to ride, but the cagers don't forget how to getchya either.

Take care my friend, look up some other OzSTOC Members in your area, and ride like there's no tomorrow!

Thanks for the intro.

Cheers, Diesel

Hi Jack,

Welcome to the infamous world of the ST.

You'll find the 1100 fairly forgiving, mine was when I first picked it up from Bendigo 6 years ago next Sunday (20th May). First bike I've ever ridden with a pillion on without getting used to the bike first. Made a couple nervous engine stalls at the lights, but survived the 1000km ride back to Adelaide.

Welcome to the zoo Jack.

They're a great crew here and will help in any way they can.

I know you'll enjoy the 1100, they're a great bike and bullet-proof.

Hope you enjoy the banter that gets thrown round, some is semi-serious but it never goes too far and we soon kiss and make up, we're all grown men (most of us anyway) after all.

Take care and have fun,

Dave R                                                             :wht13
