Wyvern the dragon has a new set of reflective wings that really fly:

These reflective stickers are designed to adhere really well to textured surfaces like the lower topbox here or pannier sides. I decided to place them on the topbox rather than the panniers coz my boots seem to strike the panniers on a regular basis even tho I am trying not to. My lack of muscular flexibility is a pain in the RRRs. Available at:

Also, replaced my "Two Brothers Racing" muffler badges with these "Steed" badges:

They r plastic tank badges from another honda model and they work coz the Two Brothers mufflers have incredible heat insulation that prevents them from getting really hot. After a ride it is possible 2 put your hands on them without burning and this makes the use of plastic badges feasible. I think they look gr8. Excuse my oxidised wheels that r in need of a polish. Available at: (not where I bought them from and forgot how much as well but not xpensive).

Great work mate, they look awesome :clap :clap :clap :thumbsup

Thnx Shiney,
The Steed badge is almost perfect coz the wording is "Individual Custom Honda" which is what all our farkling efforts r about - that little something xtra that is useful and/or aesthetic and no doubt the "shininess" caught your eye m8!
:crackup :grin
(BTW notice that the rivet covers the V2 bit that the ST, of course, is not). And the wings really light up at night and make a difference 2 visibility.
:crazy

Most excellent work good sir!

The wings look amazing...
But maybe it's my OCD or the angle of the photo. But is that badge on the pipe level?

I noticed the same thing but wasn't going to say anything....

Marcus and WendyL,
You're right about the non-parallel lines and I'm usually stringently OC as well. However, I looked at the angles many times and decided the slope looked better (the other side is exactly the same). When u look at the entire bike from the side it sort of works with the other angles somehow.

Another reason for it was the holes left after removing the "Two Brothers Racing" badges. By angling the badges a bit I was able to drill only one xtra hole in the mufflers and to have the badges straight would have required two. How OC is that!
A final reason 4 the slope is the Honda wing emblem. It has three angles that mean that only one side is parallel to any external feature - and it looks good coz of that. Look at the wing on the topbox and u can see that it's angle gives the impression of flying. In a similar way the badges on the mufflers accentuate the slope of the muffs.
Finally, if I didn't have 2 drill those extra holes I would have lined up the badge with the muff and u would have been happy 2!

Fair enough. Yeah it looks better when looking at the bigger picture.
Also thanks for the link to the wings, I've ordered them for my panniers

They look great Greg.
Thinking about getting a set of wings, is anybody in Perth or Sydney interested in getting some and sharing the postage? (assuming the postage will be the same for at least two if not more sets)

Looks great ST. George, I completely understand your reasoning. When finances recover from my trip to Toowoomba and my daughter's hockey trip to the Gold Coast, I'll be ordering some of the wings too :thumbsup
