Title: Workshop Manual
Post by: SteveR on August 27, 2015, 09:34:04 AM
G'day all,
Now that I'm a step closer to having an ST in the stable, I need to get myself the workshop manual. I was about to buy a Haynes online, but thought I would quickly ask here if anyone has a surplus manual for an ('94) 1100 you'd like to offload?

Cheers

Fantastic, thanks Brock.  That'll make for a very handy reference, but I'd still like to find a hard copy as well. I don't know about you, but I just find it so much easier to flip through a book, and with age (of the book) you can start to tell which sections are where, just by the colour of the fingerprint smudges down the side... Something to look for in buying a used vehicle too, if it comes with a workshop manual which has a particularly dirty few pages, you can bet there has been a recurring problem in that area :P

...my computer doesn't handle grease stains quite so well...

I'm trying to get with the times, I bought myself an ereader for Christmas last year, it's great, but if I enjoy a book, I'll still buy the hard copy to keep on the shelf ;)

I am pretty sure I have the ST1100 Clymer Service Guide in the shed, if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer Shaun, but I've got a couple Clymer manuals for other vehicles and find they leave a little bit to be desired, so I'll hang out to get a Haynes.

I just re read the original ad for this bike and realised it sold with a Haynes and Honda manual, I'll have to check with the seller that they're still coming with the bike, that would be handy if they did.
