Hey all,
Finally found the time and tools to get the airbox out last weekend and found the 5 way connector was clogged (3 of the 5) so I cleared it out put it back together. Expecting no change I took it out for a ride and was pleasantly surprised to find the issue now a lot harder to replicate.
Before if I were to make any "sudden movements" while riding I would get the FI light, for example, speeding up more than gently or cutting the throttle at speed. I could get it to come on above 100 or as low as 30.
Now it's a lot harder to cause and I've only managed to get it to come on taking off from the side of the highway like a mad man and after dropping it a few gears to overtake.
My question to anyone reading is where do the pipes that come off the 5-way connector go? I didn't look at the other ends when I was in there. My thinking is if cleaning the 5-way had a noticeable impact there could be a possibility that the pipes are also clogged or their other ends are clogged...
Before I go ripping it apart again and trying to clean out lengths of pipe I figured I'd see if anyone could shed some light on what I'm in for.
Thanks
