Please add Richard (aka Greencan) and Ella as maybe.

Has Richard bought a new walking stick? 😁 👍🏻 give Ella and GC my regards. 💕🙏

Probably a bit late for you to do that in person.

Certainly thought about it, but start a week relaxing down at Huskisson by the salt water for a change from the muddy LBG!

Good numbers today, 22 altogether, plus 10 ST's.  Nice restored old pub, good service, great food, even greater company.  Someone will be along soon with some pics.

What's that?  Yes, 10 ST's, probably the biggest number of ST's outside a NatRally.    Woulda / coulda / shoulda been more, but for a coupla regular ST riders (Denis & Diane, Debbie & Rex, Wendy & Brookster, and Helen & me) who were otherwise committed or did not ride, and Luke who decided to ride his VFR and leave the ST1300 at home.  Yeah, woulda / coulda / shoulda ..... but 16 ST's, I expect that is more than some NatRallies.

Come on VIC members (and anyone from interstate), let's some 'em what can be done at Buxton.

Some highlights:
  • The Pork Schnitzel - best ever
  • Lawrence's restored / resprayed (his own work) ST1100 (built from three wrecks bought for $750 - must be a few parts left over) in metallic candy apple red, it looked SENSATIONAL.
  • After most people left, the James Taylor impersonator got even better.
  • The smile on Melanie's (Neil & Val's daughter) when asked if she enjoyed the ride on her Dad's bike.
  • Room to add your own highlights.

Thanks to all who attended.

I don't mind, and I don't think 10 other ST owners mind much either.

Including Rusty.

We'll just proceed whilst BMW numbers at the RTEs catch-up to ST numbers.

Spotted it in one of my photos...
I can see why I had trouble seeing it as it looks like Nigel used the "cloak of invisibility" on it...  :whistle :rofl

Yet another great RTE, thanks to Michael for arranging it!  :thumbs

Originally Sue & I were most likely giving this one a miss as we were not long returning from our travels and figured we'd be too tired/jetlagged but after the drama & stress we suffered while away I just had to get out on the ST to clear the head.
The ride up to Kyneton certainly had the desired affect and I don't think I've felt so relaxed riding through Melbourne for a very long time!

Anyhow, it was great to catch up with all the usual gang (plus a few more) which was the icing on the cake after such a relaxing ride...

Sorry for the lack of photos while we were enjoying lunch, I got a bit distracted and only realised I hadn't taken any happy snaps when we wandered out the front for the traditional group photo.
Luckily some of us came back into the pub to continue chatting and to enjoy the "James Taylor" impersonator so I did manage to get a few pics of some of the attendees...

Cheers  :beer
