G'day Villains,
I have made some changes to the Forum this year as a result of ongoing technical problems, and changes in support from 3rd party collaborators, reworking their commitments to upgrades and development.
The main frontline changes you will notice are:
1. Members Map
This module has been removed from the forum and is no longer an option in the HOME menu display.
This has not worked for many years, regardless of software updates and exhaustive research into patches and fixes.
This will help reduce our Website's bandwidth usage and will less clog up algorithms in functionality - (basically - we're better off deleting it since it doesn't work!).
2. Tapatalk
This module has also been deleted and this forum no longer supports it.
Similar reasons to Map, developer has changed direction in their business model and stopped most support for this module. Many other forums have culled it too.
Smartphones and tablets these days are much better equipped to display the www. website anyways. This gateway also made it much easier for scammers and spammers to jump on in and cause havoc - only
to find themselves victims of the Brockinator - and dealt with.
