believe it or not the jacket saga was bigger than that

Im sensing jackets in the larger sizes may become a valuable commodity
which means my 5xl could be gold
who said being a fat "B" wouldnt pay

I have one 3xl jacket looking for a new owner. For those out there who know stinky Pete the jacket fitted him perfectly. (We compared jackets at today's SA RTE . Will pass it on at cost. Richo

On advise from Mark at Zen could those with Jacket sizing issues PLEASE hold onto their Jackets at the moment and NOT trade, swap , sell or have a ritual sacrifice of their Jacket just yet. We are waiting on Streak to get his Jacket to confirm a evidence based base line on the Jacket we were sent by the Manufacture with THEIR sizing chart......

We should have some firm evidence by the middle of next week......stay tuned campers

I'm happy to give my 5XL to anyone who doesn't fit in a 4XL, and I've really got enough jackets, so I don't care if I don't get one in the end or not. It sounds like this has become a nightmare for Mark, and it also looks like the nightmare will continue for him with the manufacturers, so if anyone wants a 5XL (I've never had a 5XL in anything!!)PM me.

Just to add to the numbers, I measured myself twice then ordered a 3xl, thinking this was generous for a jumper underneath etc. well with a tshirt on and no liners there is a 1.5 - 2.0 inch gap in the middle. No chance of it fitting. ( For reference my motodry jacket is marked xl) I would love a jacket that fits as I believe the quality and design is outstanding

It does however fit my 17 yo daughter well. She wasn't impressed when I told her she was a 3xl....lol

Hmmm.. Starting to get worried now that I have wasted my money. I thought long and hard about this purchase and only ordered a 3XL after being advised the sizes were definitely equal to DriRider sizes and after I had found someone with a DriRider 3XL to try on. It looks like there are going to be a lot of larger people who won't have a jacket and plenty of people who will have a choice in the smaller sizes. Gues that's what you get for trusting the sizing to be right without being able to try before you buy.

If there is a pattern here and it is found that the manufacturer has stuffed up we will have a great present for next christmas.

But seriously if you are smaller then there is a good chance there will be a swap or sale available.

I for one will activly be searching for a jacket for my daughter or possi ly a larger one for me.

Craig, I also was told the sizing was the same as DriRider, My dririder is a S > CuSTom Jacket ordered >S.
The difference between both is a HUGE => cuSTom Jacket a lot SMALLER..

I am very impressed with the design and the workmanship thats gone into it though! Mark at Zen, the OzSTOC team, and members input created something Special. Lets hope

So chris are you saying there may be an avenue for Zen to reject the order based on inappropriate sizing information?
that be the case it would probably restore some confidence in the system and shine a light for those who have acted in good faith

the unfortunate part about this whole thing is you guys have put so much time and effort into it,
I think I can speak for the masses in applauding your effort and contribution to this project

Ok girls and boys, my jacket has turned up, yep it is a little small, but I am at work so dont have the orginal jacket with me so I am waiting so I can take photos with the prototype jacket to, so I can send both to mark, and we can plan from there.

Picked mine up from PO this morning, had to open it (having read the comments so far!) and yes it's about 2-3 inches too small. I'll set it out against my Dri-Rider XL that I based my sizing decision on tonight and maybe even try a selfie......

That all means I now need to exchange my XL for XXL or even a XXXL!! Will Toowoomba have a swap meet built into the schedule???? It certainly looks and feels like a great jacket!

Afternoon Jacketeer's,

Just advising I'm temporarily LOCKING this thread.....

We are working on a number of solutions with Mark from Zen towards a positive outcome, it just takes time to collect all the data and evidence we need to put our case together.

For the time being if your Jacket is NOT the size you need to fit correctly please DONT remove the labels or swap the Jacket with another member
